A New Completed Rag Rug ~ Pastel Tones

A couple of days ago I showed you this rag rug as a work in progress.  It is now completed and finished off with a pink and yellow edging.
So having completed this one, I raided my fabric stash and riped up blues, and eau de nil fabrics to start my new rug.  This time the design will be an ovoid shape.
These rugs can be made to suit your own colour scheme and size requirement.

Birthday Cake Bus

This is the amazing Birthday cake given to my husband for his 50th by his workplace.  It's absolutely fantastic .
It  was created by talented cake maker Mike Moore based at The Courtyard in Goole.  He makes cakes as a hobby, but is seriously gifted!

He see's each tear that falls and hears me when I call

I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in his hands

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go

He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call

An Easter Gift

On Tuesday a parcel arrived for me and when I opened it I discovered it was from an Easter craft swap that I had entered run by  Tattooed Mummy.

I received a gift from Helena which is a stunning beaded chick necklace.  Thank you.  The amount of work in this piece is amazing and very much appreciated. Don't have any contact details to say thanks!
